Camping: for vans, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. We have been granted special permission for a small number of tents. Camping Is available at the venue (right next to the start/finish area) for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. IF YOU WISH TO BOOK FOR A TENT YOU MUST EMAIL Canixuk@yahoo.com before making the booking to check availability. Camping will be situated on the Rally Field close to the visitor centre. There is no hard standing.
Facilities include: Elsan emptying point, water point* (see below), visitor centre. There is a public toilet open 09:15 to 4:30 daily We therefore advise that all campers have their own toilet facilities for overnight use. Portable toilets will be available on the Rally field (TBC) There are no showers.
*We have been advised that the water supply has not been tested to ensure it is safe as a drinking water supply. Therefore all campers and runners must use this tap for washing only. All campers and runners MUST bring their own supply of drinking water in suitable containers for the duration of their stay.
All units must be in possession of a fire extinguisher that delivers a minimum of 2kg powder and a fire blanket.
Camping is at your own risk.
NB This offer is only available to entrants in the CaniX event and their supporters.
The landowner reserves the right to withdraw the use of the event field for camping in the event of wet weather causing the field to become waterlogged.
