COURSE DESCRIPTION

We are excited to announce this new to CaniX venue, and have a stunning 5km course available.  The course starts at the base of the hill, and after 500m begins a demanding ascent, afterwhich at  approximately 1km the course breaks out of the woods and into the meadow, giving beautiful views across Gloucestershire.   Enjoys the views, before heading back into the woods, to meander  and undulate its way on a mixture of single track and wider trail.  What goes up must come down, and the trial descends through the woods to finish near a picturesque church.  The course is entirely on a private estate, and skirts the small communities that live there, please be respectful at all times to the privacy of these communities.   Trail shoes are a must.  If the weather is wet in the lead up to the event, trail shoes with aggressive soles are highly recommmended.   We think this course is an absolute cracker, and a joy to run; it  is technical in places and will test not only speed but also dog control.
