The CaniX Resolution Race Virtual 5KM
For the Children's (u.15) races cubs age 6-10, juniors age 11 - 14 enter HERE
For the CaniX Resolution Back on Track enter HERE. To help kick start your running in 2021 our "Back on Track" event is open to all participants in the Resolution race, In addition to the Resolution 5km race (2km U.15) complete a further three 5KM runs before Janauary 31st. see entry form for more details.
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2021
DISTANCE: 5KM Adults, 2KM KIDS AND FUN RUNNERS.
All entrants will recieve a Canix "Resolution 2021" participants trophy via post on completion of the event.
Choose a suitable route, that meets the Government requirements for Covid-19/ Social Distancing for your region at the time of the event. Please choose a route that is suitable for completing with a dog(s), and consider time of day, access to water etc. The route may be flat or undulating, but no more than 50% should be downhill. Use of a runner or cyclist as a "lure" is not considered to be in the spirit of the event. (Earlier times will be cooler and less likely to meet other users)
- Complete your run anytime either on Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th January 2021
- email your evidence (screen shot of app or photo of watch time etc) to dawn@canix.co.uk before 22:00 on Sunday 10 January . Failure to meet this deadline will result in a DNS (did not start) being recorded against your entry.
- Evidence must include distance and ELAPSED time. Once evidence has been submitted no resubmission will be accepted.
- Results and prize giving will be announced on CaniX UK (official) facebook page on Monday 11th January at 8pm.
NB all runs must be completed with Autopause features switched OFF evidence must include distance and ELAPSED time (not moving time)
Class Change. You can change class on the day eg 2 dog to one dog - please state change of class with sub-mission of results. Age Class will be determined by age on the day of the event
PRIZES
Bespoke Winners Trophies will be awarded to 1st - 3rd placed Male and Female 1 dog, Male and Female 2 dog, Juniors (11-14) and Cubs (7-10) Please complete the scroll down boxes below so we can determine class. (NB should sufficient entries be recieved we will extend these classes to include the age group classes of our CaniX events; we will do this where we receive more than 5 entries in an age class)
