 The short Course is 2.4KM, will be started after all 5KM runners have returned and is a single loop.  

Your receipt for payment is confirmation of your entry (no other information will be emailed or posted). We are excited to be returning for our annual event at Dalby Forest, set in the heart of the  beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and a Dark Skies Discovery Site.  Day Parking and Camping will be available just a 100m from the start and finish line.   Both the 5KM and Short Course routes utilise a mix of trail, and run out in a single loop starting and returning to the same point. Runners of all abilities are welcome, whether you be new to the sport or a seasoned canicrosser.   Runners will be started individually, at intervals in bib number order.  

Podium places will be based on accumulated times from both Saturday and Sunday (You must enter both days to feature)  In addition, spot prizes will be awarded both days.  

K9 Trail Time will be available on Saturday for all of your dog sport needs - harnesses fittings, lines, belts etc.  Please contact them direct if you require anything specific.  

Post Race:  The forest has 13 walking trails, 6 cycling trails, 4 running trails, 2 play areas and a Go Ape.  There is a bike shop with bike hire and a visitor centre with toilets and cafe.  (pelase note the visitor centre is located approximately 4 miles from our race start)  

Day parking:  Reduced fees apply - day visitors will be issued with a code to input at the machine when making payment.  

Camping:  Parking fee is included with camping.  Saturday evening Social, Bring your own chair, drink of choice and join us for some star gazing and chat.

• Race office opens, bib collection: 8:30 - 9:00
• Race briefing: 9:00  All must attend (please do not bring dogs to the race briefing) 
• Race start: 9:30 5KM   SHORT COURSE 10:15 2.4KM 
• Prizegiving: Sunday 12 noon TBC

*Should extreme weather or temperature dictate we reserve the right to alter the course distance, or change timings - please join the event page and check before travel in such circumstances.
