The inaugral CaniX Wyre Wild 14K9 is will wind its way using trails from the visitor centre across the New Parks plantation before descending and crossing Dowles brook to gain the trails through wimperhill woods and Earlwood Copse, winding its way back in a single loop to the visitor centre. It will utilise some elements of our orginal 5KM course. This is a beautiful route, though will be demanding and not one for a PB. For those runners who love a long route this has everything to offer.
The 5KM route will be a modified course, differing in its first half to our January route. This will offer a faster and less techical start, before rejoining the original 5KM to give you the technical challenge of trail and undulations that our much loved Wyre Course has become known for.
Please be aware Forestry do NOT provide bins at this venue and you are required to remove all waste - including dog waste with you.
